Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
451 PM EDT Wed Jul 9 2025

A stalled frontal boundary will remain across southern
Pennsylvania through the upcoming weekend. This weather feature
will act as a focus for several rounds of showers and scattered
afternoon thunderstorms each day through Sunday, especially across
the southeastern portion of the state.

The thunderstorms across southeastern Pennsylvania this afternoon
and evening could produce locally damaging winds and torrential
rainfall bringing some potential for flash flooding.

Low temperatures tonight will range from the low 60s across the
northwest mountains to the low 70s across the southeast and near
the Philadelphia metro.

Dry conditions are expected during the morning on Thursday for
much of the Commonwealth before scattered showers and
thunderstorms develop during the afternoon and evening hours.
