503 PM EDT Tue Jul 21 2026

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon through the evening across Pennsylvania. Some of the
storms will be capable of damaging wind gusts, large hail and even
a tornado. Heavy rainfall is also expected and could lead to
widely scattered instances of flash flooding this evening.

A couple of showers and thunderstorms will linger into Wednesday,
mainly downwind of Lake Erie over the Allegheny Plateau and in
the far southeastern portion of the Keystone state. For the most
part, expect a multi-day drying trend with near to below average
temperatures and comfortable humidity from Wednesday night into
the last weekend of July.
