Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
515 PM EST Thu Nov 21 2024

A storm system will begin tracking inland over eastern
Pennsylvania later tonight and into Friday. This will be an
impactful system for the Commonwealth, bringing locally heavy snow
to the mountains across northern and western sections of the
state, particularly tonight and Friday morning. Low temperatures
overnight are expected to range from the low-to-mid 20s across the
Laurel Highlands to the mid-30s near Philadelphia.

A period of snow will be possible in valley locations of central
and northern Pennsylvania Friday morning before transitioning back
towards rain during the afternoon hours. Chances of precipitation
will remain across the Keystone State for much of Friday. High
temperatures will range from the mid-30s across the Endless
Mountains to the mid-40s near Lake Erie.

Precipitation will taper off this weekend, as the previously
mentioned storm moves away from the area. However, temperatures
will remain chilly, with highs remaining mostly in the 30s and
40s.
