The exception would be an isolated shower or thunderstorm along the western edge of the Allegheny Mountains in West-Central PA this afternoon and evening. Lower relative humidity, the greatest amount of sunshine, and warmest temperatures today will be found across the Eastern third of the state. A gradual increase in coverage of showers, thunderstorms, and humidity will occur across the western half of the Commonwealth Sunday afternoon. Rain chances will peak Monday afternoon and through the day Tuesday as a cold front moves across the state. Some of the storms could be on the strong side with heavy rain possible. High temperatures this afternoon will range from the mid to upper 70s across the higher elevations, to the lower 80s across the south. Highs on Sunday will be a few degrees warmer. Lows tonight will vary from the low to mid 50s across the Pocono Mountains in Northeastern PA to the low 60s in the southern valleys. $$
