Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
258 AM EST Fri Jan 31 2025

A soaking rain will spread across the state early this morning.
Temperatures will likely be cold enough to support a few pockets
of freezing rain this morning, but should warm up and end that
threat by mid-morning. The rain will last all day for most of the
state, perhaps tapering off late in the afternoon in the
southwest. It should be all done by midnight with only patchy
drizzle or flurries through the rest of tonight, mainly in the far
N and Laurels.

Saturday looks dry but chilly with temperatures not rising much,
if at all, from morning readings in the upper teens in the far
north and mid 30s in the far south. Patchy light rain or snow is
expected over the northwestern quarter of the Commonwealth on
Sunday, but little to no accumulation will occur. Highs will be in
the mid 30s northeast to near 50 degrees southwest. Monday looks
even warmer with 40s and 50s for highs statewide.
