Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
511 AM EDT Thu Jun 11 2026

Southwesterly flow will continue to pump hot and humid conditions
up the East Coast towards Pennsylvania through the end of the
week. Temperatures will rise into the upper 80s and low 90s today
and Friday. The combination of heat and humidity will make it
feel like 100 degrees or hotter in portions of southeastern
Pennsylvania, increasing the risk of heat related illness.

The heat and humidity will also result in multiple rounds of
showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, followed by
one main line of thunderstorms associated with an approaching
cold front on Friday. Some of the storms could produce damaging
wind gusts and briefly heavy rainfall.

Behind the cold front, humidity levels will be much lower this
weekend, but temperatures will remain above normal. Expect mostly
sunny skies on Saturday, followed by an increased chance for
showers and thunderstorms on Sunday with the next cold front.
