Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
1121 PM EDT Thu Jul 16 2026

Wildfire smoke will continue to bring hazy skies and degraded air
quality across much of Pennsylvania into Friday. Low temperatures
will range from the upper 50s to upper 60s. Dry weather will
continue into Friday, with highs mainly in the 80s for most areas.

Unsettled weather is expected on Saturday as a stronger cold
front moves through, bringing a chance for widespread showers and
perhaps some thunderstorms capable of producing gusty winds and
heavy rain. This front will help to scour out the wildfire smoke
from our area, with Sunday looking to bring sunnier and drier
weather with seasonable temperatures and a northwesterly breeze.
