Some of the storms will be capable of damaging wind gusts, large hail and even a tornado. Brief heavy rainfall is also expected and could lead to widely scattered instances of flash flooding. High temperatures will range from the mid 70s in the northwest Alleghenies to the mid 80s in the Lower Susquehanna and Delaware Valleys. A couple of showers and thunderstorms will linger into Wednesday, mainly downwind of Lake Erie over the Allegheny Plateau and in the far southeastern portion of the Keystone state. For the most part, expect a multi-day drying trend with near to below average temperatures and comfortable humidity from Wednesday night into the last weekend of July. $$ Martin
