High pressure will continue to provide dry conditions through
Thursday evening. Some low clouds and fog are expected across
central and northeastern parts of the Commonwealth tonight.Low
temperatures tonight will range from the lower 60s to the upper
60s. The humidity will build a bit on Thursday under mostly sunny
skies and a light south wind. High temperatures on Thursday will
range from the lower 80s across the Poconos to the lower 90s
across western Pennsylvania.

Very hot and humid conditions will occur on Friday, with showers
and thunderstorms expected ahead of a cold front dropping
southward into the Commonwealth. Some of the storms could be
strong to severe, with the highest chance of any damaging wind
gusts over northeastern Pennsylvania. Locally heavy rainfall will
also be possible and may lead to isolated flooding concerns.

Daily chances for showers and thunderstorms with seasonable
temperatures will continue through the weekend.
