Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
509 AM EST Sat Nov 8 2025

Much of today will feature dry conditions with a mix of sun and
clouds and a moderate west to northwest breeze, though a brief
shower cannot be ruled out over northwest PA. Temperatures will
rebound to slightly above normal values across the northern tier
of Pennsylvania to between 8 and 10 degrees above normal in the
central and southern valleys, or between 50 and 65 from north to
south.

During the day Sunday, low pressure moving northeast from the
central Great Plains will push a strong cold front across the
state. This will usher in the coldest air of the season on Monday
with lake effect and upslope snow showers. A few inches of snow
accumulation is possible across the northwest mountains and
Laurel Highlands, and we could see the first flakes of snow
fly across the central ridge and valley region of the state.
