Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
411 AM EDT Tue Aug 25 2026

Tuesday will be a partly sunny and pleasant late August day for
most of Pennsylvania. High temperatures will remain on the cool
side of the historical average for this time of year, ranging from
the upper 60s across the north central Alleghenies to the low 80s
around the Philadelphia metro area. A quick passing, light rain
shower or brief sprinkle cannot be ruled out over the higher
terrain to the west of Interstate 99 and north of Interstate 80,
but most places will stay dry. Seasonably warmer and more humid
conditions are forecast into late week with scattered strong to
severe thunderstorms possible Thursday afternoon.
