.DISCUSSION...
High-level clouds to start off today will gradually thicken as a
mid-level and then low-level deck settles into the region near the
burn site. Initial timing for low-level clouds at the site are
expected during the late morning to early afternoon hours,
although these cannot be ruled out as early as mid-morning. Winds
will generally be light this morning with southerly winds expected
to top out closer to 10 mph later this afternoon. Forecast
relative humidity remains closer to the lower range in guidance,
with the floor closer to 55% during the late afternoon hours.
Dry conditions to start off today with increasing rain chances
this afternoon with higher confidence in rain showers and
potentially isolated thunderstorms after 1PM. Thunderstorm
potential is the main forecast uncertainty of the day; however,
best timing for any thunderstorms at the site will be between 2PM
and 6PM this afternoon/evening. Rinse-and-repeat pattern with some
potential for afternoon hours and thunderstorms on Wednesday;
however, some stronger storms will be possible Wednesday
afternoon/evening with stronger winds.
