Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College, PA
503 AM EDT Fri Jun 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...

A weak and slowly moving cold front will slide east and south
through the state today and tonight. Numerous showers and
thunderstorms are expected again today. Most locations will
get wet in the next 24 hrs. Locally heavy rainfall is also
possible, mainly in locations that receive 2 or more storms.

The front will be into SE PA on Sat, and allow the NW to have
a mainly dry day. Showers and thunderstorms will work back in
from the southwest later Sat night and Sun, and result in a
wet period until mid-week.
