.DISCUSSION...
Relative humidity levels will dip into the 30s and lower 40s over
much of central PA this afternoon. But, since winds will be
light, Red Flag conditions are not anticipated. High pressure will
remain in control for the remainder of this afternoon and into
early tonight.
A cold front will pass through the state Thursday and Thursday
evening bringing much higher relative humidities and supporting
widespread showers and thunderstorms as well as increasing winds.
An inch of rain is possible in a few spots, with most places
getting between a quarter and a half of an inch. These storms are
not anticipated to provide significant relief from the
increasinglydry conditions across the state, but the rainfall
will be mostly beneficial.
