.DISCUSSION...
Mainly clear to partly cloudy skies are expected through the rest
of the afternoon with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.
We can`t rule out a stray terrain-induced shower into the evening
near and to the east of the Allegheny Mountains although the
chance of measurable rain is less than 20%. Any shower activity
should dissipate tonight with the loss of heating. A weak cold
front crossing Lake Erie is expected to aid in isolated to
scattered afternoon thunderstorms particularly in the ANF and
Northern Tier districts Thursday afternoon and evening. Episodic
periods of rain/showers and a few thunderstorms will continue
across parts of central PA from Thursday night through Saturday.
