Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College, PA
302 AM EDT Tue Aug 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Another day of unseasonably cool conditions with an 8 to 15 mph
southeasterly flow, originating from the Atlantic Coast, helping
to create plenty of thick low clouds across much of Central and
Southern PA.

There will continue to be more sunshine and slightly lower humidity
across the northern tier.

A few periods of showers are expected later tonight and Wednesday
as a cold front pushes east across Pennsylvania.

Afterward, little to no rainfall is expected Thursday through
Friday.
