.DISCUSSION...
High pressure influence will continue through Monday with
widespread dry conditions. Dry air aloft this afternoon/early
evening is expected to mix down to the surface across central
Pennsylvania, allowing for minimum relative humidity values to
range between 25% and 35% for much of the area. Winds are expected
to be slightly higher this afternoon compared to recent days;
however, sustained winds are generally expected to to out between
5 and 7 mph with gusts generally below 15 mph.
Increasing rain chances come later Tuesday afternoon and into
portions of Wednesday with a cold frontal passage. Rainfall with
the cold frontal passage will be beneficial; however, rainfall
accumulations at this time are not expected to put a large dent in
rainfall deficits. Dry conditions are forecast to prevail later
next week with a return to relatively low RH values, especially on
Thursday before slight chances of rain return next weekend.
