Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College, PA
318 PM EDT Sat Jun 7 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Drier and slightly cooler air will push into much of Central and
Northern PA this afternoon and tonight, thanks to the passage of
a weak surface cold front that will drift just south of the
Mason/Dixon line this evening.

a few, mainly brief showers and isolated thunderstorms will
occur near and to the south of this airmass boundary.

A brief break in the rain will occur tonight as the front
settles south of the state.

Showers and thunderstorms will work back in from the southwest
early Sunday morning and bring widespread showers and
thunderstorms and a moderate to heavy rainfall to the southern
half of PA on Sunday.
