.DISCUSSION...
Locally heavy rain and strong thunderstorms will impact parts of
central Pennsylvania this afternoon into tonight. A few showers
could linger across the far southern and eastern portions of the
forecast area on Friday, but on balance we anticipate a drying
trend from northwest to southeast into Friday night. A significant
pattern shift will deliver comfortably cooler/refreshing
conditions with much lower humidity and no rainfall for the first
weekend of August.
