...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
  counties, Adams, Bedford, Blair, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon and
  Somerset.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
  in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Flash flooding has already been observed in Somerset County.
    Moderate to heavy rain will continue tonight in the Watch
    area. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
    likely, with locally higher amounts possible along the
    eastern slopes of the Alleghenies. This rainfall may lead to
    flash or areal flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
