.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGE 1: A dry end to the last big weekend of the summer
season.

After a summer of stormy conditions, especially on the
weekend, this Sunday will feature lots of sun and dry
weather for the holiday weekend, as high pressure slowly
builds into the area. Low chance of a shower across areas
to our east and north on Sunday. Went with a dry fcst for our
area. Enjoy your holiday weekend.

There could be some river valley, patchy fog Monday and even
Tuesday morning, given light winds, clear skies, and recent
wet conditions.

&&

.AVIATION /00Z SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY/...
Clearing skies and diminishing winds this evening will allow
VFR conds to persist into the early overnight hours.

Expect restrictions to develop in low clouds and/or fog in some
areas during the pre-dawn hours. The TAF sites with the highest
probability of IFR restrictions are BFD and IPT, with
restrictions also possible farther south in the Ridge and
Valley region (AOO/UNV).

Any lingering restrictions should dissipate by mid-morning on
Sunday, leaving widespread VFR conds across Central PA. A light
northerly breeze of 5-10 kts will develop by aftn.

Outlook...

Mon-Tue...AM fog possible; otherwise predominantly VFR.

Wed...Primarily VFR, although late-day SHRA/TSRA possible
across the northern tier.

Thu...Cold FROPA could bring scattered SHRA/TSRA areawide.
