...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL WEBB COUNTY THROUGH 1115
PM CDT...

At 1013 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
near Las Tiendas, or 22 miles northwest of Laredo, moving north at
less than 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Laredo, Las Tiendas, Botines, Unitec Industrial Park, Laredo Country
Club, Doctors Hospital Of Laredo, Ranchos Penitas West, Orvil,
Columbia Bridge, and Callaghan.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 4 and 26.
 US Highway 83 between mile markers 688 and 698.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
