...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL VICTORIA COUNTY THROUGH
315 PM CDT...

At 243 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bloomington, or 9 miles south of Victoria, moving north at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Victoria, Guadalupe, Dacosta, Wood Hi, Bloomington, Victoria Regional
Airport, Telferner, and Brentwood Subdivision.

This includes the following highways...
 US Highway 59 between mile markers 630 and 634.
 US Highway 87 between mile markers 816 and 822.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
