...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED...

* AFFECTED AREA: The Brush Country and the Rio Grande Plains of
  South Texas.

* TIMING: From Noon until 900 PM CDT.

* WIND: Southwest at 10 to 15 mph through 400 PM, Winds shifting
  to the Northwest and increasing to 15 MPH.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY: As low as 5 to 10 percent in the Rio Grande
  Plains, 10 to 35 percent in the Brush Country.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Affected residents are urged to exercise care with respect to all
outdoor activities that could inadvertently cause wildfires.

Avoid the use of welding or grinding equipment near grass and dry
brush. In addition, avoid parking vehicles in tall, dry grass and
weeds that could be ignited.

Do not toss cigarette butts on the ground. Report wildfires
quickly to the nearest fire department or law enforcement office.
