...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED...

* AFFECTED AREA: South Texas.

* TIMING: From 1 PM until 7 PM.

* WIND: North-northwest around 10-15 mph with gusts to 20 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY: As low as 20 to 30 percent inland, 30 to 40
  percent along the coast.

* FUEL DRYNESS: Critically dry fuels with Energy Release Component
  values 75-90th percentile west and 50-75th percentile east.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Affected residents are urged to exercise care with respect to all
outdoor activities that could inadvertently cause wildfires.

Avoid the use of welding or grinding equipment near grass and dry
brush. In addition, avoid parking vehicles in tall, dry grass and
weeds that could be ignited.

Do not toss cigarette butts on the ground. Report wildfires
quickly to the nearest fire department or law enforcement office.
