.DISCUSSION...
Current relative humidity is sitting between 80-90% and is
expected to reach a minimum of around 55% mid-late this morning
before the seabreeze pushes through. There is a very low (10%)
chance of showers and thunderstorms this morning, before rain
chances diminish in the afternoon in the wake of the leading edge
of the seabreeze. Light south to southeasterly winds less than 10
mph early this morning will strengthen to sustained around 15 mph
with gusts to 25 mph this afternoon and early evening hours. Winds
will diminish late tonight and relative humidity will rise
quickly. Rain chances increase to 30-50% Friday morning in
association with a tropical disturbance currently located over the
Bay of Campeche. The mixing height will peak around 4000-4500 feet
this mid-morning before dropping below 1000 feet during nighttime
hours.
