.DISCUSSION...
A tropical wave is moving through the western Gulf today, leading
to increased chances of precipitation throughout Corpus Christi.
These will be scattered in nature. Best time for the start of the
showers will be from noon through midnight today. Under a heavier
shower and thunderstorm, rainfall rates may exceed 2 inches per
hour. Winds will generally be from the S/SE at 5-10 mph gusting
to 20 mph. Tonight, showers and thunderstorms persist, but will be
less in spatial coverage. Saturday, these thunderstorms will
primarily be seabreeze related in nature. Temperatures will remain
in the upper 80s to low 90s throughout the day today and Saturday.
