Minimum RH values remain mainly moderate to high through Tuesday,
with the lowest values of 25-40% located west across the Brush
Country and Rio Grande Plains. The 20-ft winds will generally
remain light (10 mph or less) throughout the entirety of the
forecast period. Rain chances pick up today as a series of
mid-level disturbances will bring increasing moisture back into
South Texas. This will support returning low to medium (20-50%)
rain chances late today across the Victoria Crossroads and
northern Coastal Plains, increasing to a broader coverage of low
to moderately high probabilities (30-70%) Monday and Tuesday. By
midweek, drier air filters into the region, lowering minimum RH
values to 30-40% areawide through the end of the work week.
However, with rainfall expected during the days prior, elevated
fire weather conditions are not expected.
