...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south Texas, including the following
  counties, Aransas, Calhoun, Refugio and San Patricio.

* WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 110 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor
    flooding in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Port Lavaca, Rockport, Refugio, Woodsboro, Seadrift, Lamar,
    Bayside, Quintana, Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, Holiday
    Beach, Tivoli, Long Mott, Copano Village, Green Lake, Key
    Allegro, Bonnie View, Matagorda Island State Park, Alamo
    Beach, Magnolia Beach and Indianola.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
