Not much changes from previous forecast packages. Rain chances are
still expected to increase late this weekend with Sunday giving us
our best chances for rain. Sunday will yield low to medium (20-65%)
rain chances with rain chances decreasing slightly Monday to 20-50%.
While rain chances will drop after Monday, there will be still be a

seabreeze. Warm conditions will remain in South Texas through the
weekend and into next week with heat index values peaking between
100-109 degrees daily.

.AVIATION...
(12Z TAFS)
Issued at 600 AM CDT Sat Jun 28 2025

Patchy fog has led to brief IFR/MVFR conditions at ALI. MVFR
conditions are also expected briefly this morning across the VCT
area. Otherwise, VFR conditions will prevail across S TX through
most of the TAF period. Saharan Dust will be increasing across S TX
today and Sunday, leading to hazy conditions, but VSBYs are expected
to remain 6SM or higher. A few showers along the coast can be
expected this morning. However, the showers are not expected to
create any significant aviation impacts and will not be included in
the TAFs at this time. Rain chances do increase Sunday, mainly for
CRP, ALI and VCT, and may lead to periods of IFR/MVFR on Sunday.
Winds will be generally southeast and increase by mid to late
morning with gusts around 20 knots through this afternoon/early
evening.
