.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 134 PM CDT Sun Sep 20 2026

Mid-level high pressure continues, of course, but there is the
potential for slightly more interesting things happening at the
surface. Low rain (15-25%) chances will return Monday as PWAT values
reach 1.7-2.0" and outflow boundaries from storms to the north move
toward the coast, colliding with the seabreeze. Low rain chances
will continue along the seabreeze Tuesday.

The NBM continues to indicate PoP values in the 20-50% range
beginning Wednesday but, as the previous forecast mentioned, based
on global models and understanding the NBM bias, expect these will
continue to trend drier. South of the area, more moisture will
result in higher rainfall totals. The NBM may be picking up on this
and nudging it a little too far north. Either way, we`ll keep an eye
on this and update the forecast as needed.

.AVIATION...
(18Z TAFS)
Issued at 134 PM CDT Sun Sep 20 2026

VFR conditions are expected to prevail, though some periods of
patchy fog will be possible at ALI. Relatively light winds will be
expected through the TAF cycle.

.MARINE...
Issued at 134 PM CDT Sun Sep 20 2026

Seas will decrease from 2-3 feet to 2 feet seas through Wednesday as
light to gentle (BF 2-3) breezes continue. By midweek, gentle to
moderate (BF 3-4) breezes will develop, with seas increasing to 3-4
feet. A low to medium (20-40%) chance for showers and thunderstorms
will develop midweek and continues.
