.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1133 PM CST Wed Nov 12 2025

High pressure will remain in control of the forecast through this
weekend and into early next week. This will keep our temperatures
above average, with highs in the 80s and 90s. We still hold out hope
for the next potential chance for rain next week as another cold
front tries to move through the area, but it is still too early to
get excited. We have continued the mention of low (20-40%) chances
for showers and thunderstorms as early as Monday along the immediate
coast and over the Victoria Crossroads. The best chances for rain
are likely to be after Tuesday, but uncertainty is high this far
out.

.AVIATION...
(12Z TAFS)
Issued at 529 AM CST Thu Nov 13 2025

Mostly VFR conditions will prevail through the TAF cycle at area
terminals. Patchy fog, dense at times, has developed at VCT site
early this morning leading to IFR/LIFR conditions. Guidance
continues to indicate fog developing at the ALI terminal as well,
therefore have maintained TEMPO IFR conditions there through 14Z
today. Another round of patchy fog is in the forecast for late
tonight over the Victoria Crossroads. Otherwise, expect winds to
strengthen and become gusty this afternoon out of the S-SE. Winds
will decouple in the evening hours, becoming light again by early
Friday morning.

&&

.MARINE...
Issued at 1133 PM CST Wed Nov 12 2025

Small Craft Should Exercise Caution conditions are expected as a
moderate to occasionally fresh (BF 4-5) breeze persists into the
weekend. Winds will diminish to a more moderate (BF 4) by late
Saturday before returning to a moderate to fresh (BF 4-5) breeze
once again early next week. Low (20-40%) chances for rain are
possible early next week.

.FIRE WEATHER...
Issued at 1125 AM CST Wed Nov 12 2025

Moisture will continue to increase through the week and into the
weekend as winds diminish. While fuels will remain very dry with no
measurable rain in the forecast, elevated fire weather conditions
are not expected at this time. Even so, with high ERC values,
caution is urged near any sparks or open flames.
