.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1223 AM CDT Wed Aug 20 2025

A relative lull in moisture is progged for Wednesday with PWAT
values dropping below 2 inches. While we could still see an isolated
sea breeze shower, think coverage will be substantially less than
today. We will have to watch for convection drifting south from the
Hill country and Central Texas though as a weak boundary pushes
south. Models aren`t too excited about it reaching into our CWA, but
have bumped up PoPs just a touch to 20 west in the evening. The
aforementioned boundary will stall around the area Thursday and
Friday and will be the focus for some enhanced coverage of showers
and storms. Will keep close to NBM PoPs with 50-70% Thursday and 40-
50% Friday. While most areas should see some rainfall, totals are
not expected to be impressive, with most of the area seeing under
half an inch of rain. We`ll linger medium rain chances into Saturday
before they drop off heading into next week.

The stalled boundary will keep a very weak wind pattern across the
area through the next. Seasonal temperatures tomorrow will drop back
a bit Thursday through Saturday as rain chances and cloud cover
increase. Not sure we`ll get another taste of temps in the 70s in
the middle of the afternoon though like we saw today! Seasonal
temperatures return next week as the mid level ridge that had been
stuck over the four-corners region breaks free and drifts over our
area.

.AVIATION...
(06Z TAFS)
Issued at 1223 AM CDT Wed Aug 20 2025

Expect VFR conditions overnight and Wednesday with a high cirrus
cloud deck persisting and light and variable winds. Cant rule out
an isolated sea breeze shower or thunderstorm Wednesday afternoon
but not confident enough to include in terminals. Given the high
clouds, fog potential is reduced for the morning. But included
some light fog (4 miles, MVFR) for Victoria since they has some
precip yesterday.

.MARINE...
Issued at 1223 AM CDT Wed Aug 20 2025

A light to gentle breeze (BF 2-3) is expected to prevail through the
period with a weak wind pattern over the region. Low rain chances
Wednesday will increase Thursday and Friday as a weak boundary
stalls in the region. Rain chances decrease Sunday into next week.
