Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 85 mph Path Length /statute/: 0.24 miles Path Width /maximum/: 75 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 08/12/2025 Start Time: 08:45 PM EDT Start Location: 3 NNE Middlefield / Geauga County / OH Start Lat/Lon: 41.5012 / -81.0523 End Date: 08/12/2025 End Time: 08:47 PM EDT End Location: 3 NNE Middlefield / Geauga County / OH End Lat/Lon: 41.5042 / -81.0499 Survey Summary: A brief tornado began just west of Madison Road/OH-528 just south of Burton-Windsor Road, roughly 3 miles northeast of Middlefield, OH. The tornado uprooted a large tree, with several large limbs snapped off trees in this area. The tornado continued to the northeast, crossing Madison Road, damaging three buildings on a property on the east side of the road. Two smaller outbuildings suffered extensive roof damage, with a larger barn suffering roof damage as well. Roofing material was thrown several hundred feet towards the west onto the roadway.
