...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...

  The nearshore and open waters from the Islands to Willowick...

At 418 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Huron to
near Vermilion to Avon Point, moving southeast at 15 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
