.DISCUSSION...
Strong high pressure will build southeast across the
northeastern United States through the remainder of this week
before slowly shifting off the East Coast early next week.
Dry weather is anticipated through Monday afternoon with scattered
rain chances returning on Tuesday. Minimum relative humidity
values will fall to about 20 to 30 percent at inland locations
during peak diurnal mixing today and northeast winds to 10 to 17
mph are anticipated this afternoon. The highest sustained winds
are expected across northwestern Ohio and along the immediate
lakeshore, where wind gusts to 25 mph are likely this afternoon.
Minimum relative humidity values will be between 25 and 35 percent
Thursday afternoon and east to southeast winds to 10 mph or less
are expected during peak diurnal mixing.
