The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 60 NM...

* Until 515 PM EDT.

* At 313 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located 12 NM south of A L T Buoy, moving
  northeast at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create
           locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged
           in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  R2 Tower, Honey Barge, Grays Reef Buoy, Tug Rio Caroni, D R H Buoy
  and John Bird.
