...WATERSPOUTS POSSIBLE THIS MORNING ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS OF
SOUTHEAST GEORGIA AND SOUTH CAROLINA...

A line of towering cumulus clouds with isolated showers was
detected 5 to 15 miles off the coast of Georgia and South
Carolina this morning. Conditions along this line will remain
supportive for waterspout formation through mid-morning,
especially between adjacent showers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If waterspouts occur, move your boat away from the waterspout.
Remember that waterspouts can develop rapidly and produce winds
and seas that are dangerous for vessels and everyone onboard.

Report waterspouts via social media or by calling the National
Weather Service at 1-888-383-2024.
