...AREAS OF FOG WILL IMPACT THE COASTAL WATERS THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON...

The areas affected include...
Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Savannah GA out 20 NM...
Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 20 NM, including
Grays Reef National Marine Sanctuary...

Satellite imagery and webcams indicate areas of fog are continuing
to impact the Atlantic nearshore waters. Visibilities could be
reduced to 1 nm or less in spots. Fog could persist through the
afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards or Coast Guard
broadcasts for the latest marine weather information from the
National Weather Service in Charleston.

Please relay any reports of sea fog to the Charleston or Tybee
Island Coast Guard stations and ask them to immediately forward your
report to the National Weather Service in Charleston

Mariners are urged to navigate with extreme care in sea fog. If you
must navigate in these conditions, proceed with extreme caution. Use
proper fog signals, including fog horns. Make sure all navigational
running lights are on.
