...LOCALLY DENSE FOG WILL IMPACT GEORGIA AND LOWER SOUTH CAROLINA
WATERS...

A large area of sea fog was evident on satellite across the
Georgia and lower nearshore South Carolina waters early this
evening. Visibility over the waters could fall to a half mile or
less at times. The fog is expected to persist through this evening
into tonight. A Dense Fog Advisory may become necessary later this
evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners are urged to navigate with extreme care. If you must
navigate in these conditions, proceed with caution. Use proper
fog signals, including fog horns. Make sure all navigational
running lights are on.

Please relay any reports of sea fog to the Charleston or Tybee
Island Coast Guard stations and ask them to immediately forward
your report to the National Weather Service in Charleston.
