A cold front will advance into the southeast U.S. today then pass through southeast South Carolina and southeast Georgia tonight. Ahead of the front, gusty south to southwest winds will develop across the region later this morning and persist through the afternoon. Gusts of 20 to 25 mph will be common. Gustiness will subside some this evening although winds will remain elevated through much of the night. Meanwhile, a broken band of showers will move through the region with the front, impacting the burn site largely between 11 pm and 5 am Saturday.
