...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM EDT THIS
AFTERNOON...
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

* WHAT...For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.
  For the Coastal Flood Warning, after reaching major flood stage
  earlier, water levels will continue to slowly fall.

* WHERE...Coastal Colleton County.

* WHEN...For the High Rip Current Risk, through Sunday evening.
  For the Coastal Flood Warning, until 3 PM EDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...This will result in some roads becoming impassable
  and minor flooding of properties. Rip currents can sweep even
  the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A number of roads remain closed due to
  coastal flooding. Never drive around police barricades.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

Visit water.weather.gov for additional water level and flood
impact information.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

  For the Coastal Flood Advisory, after peaking in the moderate
  flood stage, water levels will continue to fall.

* WHERE...In Georgia, Coastal Bryan, Coastal Chatham, Coastal
  Liberty and Coastal McIntosh Counties. In South Carolina,
  Beaufort and Coastal Jasper Counties.

* WHEN...For the High Rip Current Risk, through Sunday evening.
  For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 3 PM EDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Saltwater inundation could impact some roads. Rip
  currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into
  deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Remain alert for flooded areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

Visit water.weather.gov for additional water level and flood
impact information.

* WHAT...For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.
  For the Coastal Flood Warning, after reaching major flood stage
  earlier, water levels will continue to slowly fall. For the High
  Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of up to 5 feet in the surf
  zone.

* WHERE...Charleston County.

* WHEN...For the High Rip Current Risk, through Sunday evening.
  For the Coastal Flood Warning, until 3 PM EDT this afternoon.
  For the High Surf Advisory, until 8 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...This will result in some roads becoming impassable
  and minor flooding of properties. Dangerous swimming and
  surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents
  can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper
  water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tide will occur around 12:01 PM
  today at Charleston. Saltwater inundation will be possible 1
  to 2 hours before and after high tide.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

Visit water.weather.gov for additional water level and flood
impact information.

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
  isolated road closures expected.
