...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations generally
  between 5 and 10 inches. Locally greater totals possible in an
  area from Piscataquis county to southeast Aroostook county.

* WHERE...Portions of Central Highlands, Far Eastern, Far Northern,
  North Woods, and Penobscot Valley Maine

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Periods of locally heavy snowfall may lead to rapid snow
  accumulations. The weight of heavy, wet snow on tree limbs may
  down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel
  could be very difficult due to heavy snow creating low visibility,
  and wet roads freezing under new snow.  These hazardous conditions
  will impact travel Thursday evening through Friday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel extremely dangerous. If you must travel,
keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of
an emergency.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause
primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited
visibilities, and use caution while driving.
