Including the cities of Allagash, Clayton Lake, Madawaska,
Fort Kent, Frenchville, Presque Isle, Caribou, Van Buren,
Mars Hill, Ashland, Millinocket, East Millinocket, Patten,
Medway, Houlton, Hodgdon, Sherman, Smyrna Mills, Greenville,
Monson, Blanchard, Danforth, Vanceboro, and Topsfield

...Slick Roads Tonight in portions of the Central Highlands and
Northern Maine...

Wet snow continues falling in many locations across the Northern
Central Highlands, Far Northern Washington County and all of Northern
Maine. Snowfall is moderate at times in some locations. Despite
air temperatures slightly above freezing the road subsurface
temperatures are below freezing. Slushy and slippery driving
conditions are noted thanks to Maine Department of Transportation
webcams and reports from Law Enforcement.

Potentially impacted roads include but not limited too... Route 6
north of Abbot to Greenville. Route 1 from Danforth to the St.
John Valley. I-95 from Medway to Houlton especially at higher
elevations like Benedicta. Route 2 & 2A from Haynesville Woods
region to Houlton. Route 11 from Patten to Masardis. Route 11 from
Ashland to Eagle Lake. Route 163 and 227 from Mapleton to Ashland.

Travelers are advised to be extra cautious for slippery
conditions, slow down and plan on extra braking distance.
