Several high temperature records were broken in Northern Maine on October 6th. In Caribou, the high temperature record for October was 83 degrees Fahrenheit. The previous record was October 6th 2011, at 82 degrees. The daily record for October 6th was also broken at Caribou, with the previous record high being 74 degrees in 1946. Caribou records date back to 1939. In Houlton, the high temperature record for October was also broken on Monday, at 84 degrees.
