.DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions can be expected again today but not as
hot as yesterday. South winds across the area may gust 10 to 15
mph at times this afternoon. Afternoon minimum relative
humidities will drop to 35-45 percent range north of Route 9 with
45-60 percent south of Route 9. The risk of lightning increases
this afternoon across the North Woods with scattered
thunderstorms developing. Isolated to scattered lightning risk
tonight into Thursday from NW to SE across the area. Overall, no
widespread wetting rains expected given generally isolated to
scattered activity.
