.DISCUSSION...
Today will be sunny to partly cloudy across the north and partly
to mostly cloudy over the south. Showers and isolated
thunderstorms will move into southern areas this afternoon then
expand north tonight into Saturday. Rainfall through Saturday
will average a quarter to a half inch over the north and along
the coast with up to an inch possible from the southern highlands
across parts of south central areas. Sunday will be mostly sunny
with light winds as high pressure returns. Unsettled weather is
expected early to mid week next week as a trough of low pressure
sets up to our west and waves of low pressure circulate into the
northeast around the trough.
