.DISCUSSION...
Mainly dry weather expected through Monday across the area as
confidence is increasing in lower rainfall chances early next
week. Today, dry and warmer with highs in the 60s areawide and
afternoon relative humidities 35-45 percent for most locations
except 50-60 percent at the shore. W-SW winds 5-15mph today will
shift W-NW this afternoon at most locations except Downeast.
Tonight, good recovery again with RHs near 100 percent and
temperatures in the 30s north with 40s south and light winds.
Sunday, winds shift E at 5-15mph with a few gusts up to 20mph
Downeast. Temperatures in the 50s to low 60s and RHs generally
45-60 percent except downslope winds in Eastern Aroostook and
Northern Washington counties lower RHs to around 40 percent.
Monday, will be another significantly drier day north with RHs
falling back into the 30-35 percent range and 40-60 percent in
southern zones. 30-50 percent chance of a wetting rain for
Downeast Monday Night into Tuesday with much lower chances north.
