  Northwestern Richland County in central South Carolina...

* Until 830 PM EDT.

* At 749 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Blair to near Prosperity to 9 miles northeast
  of Saluda, moving southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Newberry, Winnsboro, VC Summer Nuclear Station, Prosperity,
  Fairfield County Airport, Jenkinsville, Monticello, Dreher Island
  State Park, Blair, Chapin, Little Mountain, Pomaria, Silverstreet,
  Peak, Lebanon Fire Station, US-176 and SC-
  34 Crossroads, Putnam`s Landing, Henderson Island, White Rock, and
  Rocky Point Recreation Area.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 26 between mile markers 73 and 95.
 Interstate 77 between mile markers 35 and 36.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Severe thunderstorms can produce large capsizing waves and frequent
lightning. If on or near Lake Murray move away from the water and
