  Southwestern Kershaw County in central South Carolina...

* Until 715 PM EDT.

* At 632 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Elgin, or 11
  miles northeast of Columbia, moving northeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to trees and powerlines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Columbia, Camden, Lake Wateree Dam, Lugoff, Lake Carolina, Elgin,
  Villages at Sandhill, Boykin, Pine Grove Fire Station, Wateree
  River Correctional Institution, North Towne Square Shopping Center,
  and Rembert.

This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 80
and 100.
